This year's js13kGames opening and closing online meetups, Kick-off and Awards Ceremony respectively, after a few years of being led by Sascha Depold from eBay, were hosted by me personally.
A few months ago Wim Jongman has opened an Issue in the GitHub repository of my Gamedev-Canvas-workshop, which is quite often forked and used as a base for hands-on workshops teaching basics of how to build HTML5 games, asking if it can be included as a Game example in Eclipse. Fast forward to now, and it's there already!
I'm honored to be listed among the fine folks of the GitHub Stars program, which gathers shining individuals from the world’s largest open source community, though I still think I got mistaken for someone else.
May was a busy month for all kinds of Gamedev.js events in Warsaw - from a workshop, through hackathon, to a special edition of the meetup.
The past 2015 year was moderately good for me and for Enclave Games. Check out the article if you're interested in what happened over the last 12 months and what are the plans for the future.
Most of the month was taken over by js13kGames, obviously – sending more emails, accepting the entries and overall competition management. I also had the chance to run a gamedev workshop on another continent.
This time the main focus was put on creating the gamedev materials, so there was little to none work done on the games themselves.
Since the last report from March (posted in the middle of April) I’ve focused on the Technical Evangelism activities with the Wizard Quest bugfixing in the meantime. I hope both projects will make me happy eventually.
With a major delay, but here it is – monthly report for March. It’s quite short, boring and a little bit pessimistic.
