Gamedev.js Warsaw #1 was a success

We’ve started monthly Gamedev.js meetups in Warsaw - it’s a great opportunity to gather local HTML5 game development community in one place.

The first meetup happened two weeks ago, on January 31st. It went surprisingly well - we had 50-60 people, there was no technical difficulties, and the feedback from the attendees was very positive.

You can see the photos taken by the co-organizer, Grzegorz Bagrowski, to feel the vibe we had. There are also videos from the three presentations we had, although the whole event was in Polish.

The meetup wouldn’t be possible without the sponsors - Mozilla and Iterators. Thanks to them we were able to record the talks and offer coupons for drinks. We would like to have our own stickers, t-shirts and other swag, so if your company is able to help us cover the costs please get in touch!

Big thanks goes also to speakers as they spent some time to prepare their talks and shared their knowledge with the audience. The meetup itself went well and it feels there’s a huge potential here. We’ll try to have the meetup every month - the next one will happen on February 22nd.
